POPLAR CREEK GOLF COURSE
What do otters and golf have to do with one another?
Guests of Coyote Point Museum can always observe a pair of frisky River Otters in their natural habitat. The beloved otter is the mascot for the Second Annual Otter Putt Golf Tournament scheduled for Friday, May 18th. The Coyote Point Museum Auxiliary is planning this multi-faceted event to benefit the Museum.
Players will tee off at the Poplar Creek Golf Course at Coyote Point in a shotgun scramble format. This fun-filled day will also include a putting contest, a silent auction, box lunch and a hosted awards dinner.
The Otter Putt Golf Tournament is the creation of Meg Brandin, long-time museum supporter and former Museum Board Member. This year the Museum Auxiliary will be putting on the tournament, silent auction and awards dinner. Once again, the event is generously sponsored by Bay Meadows Land Company.
It’s not too late to get involved and support the Otter Putt Golf Tournament. The event organizers need sponsors at all levels and silent auction items. To offer your help email volunteer@cpmaonline.org.
